Rock n' Roll!!!! (hall of fame)

Today, Katie and I drove through beautiful downtown Cleveland (ha!) and checked out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I wasn't sure at first that it was worth the $20 admission, and in many ways I'm still not sure it is, but after roaming around for an hour or so I got inspired a few times. I stood THIS CLOSE to Jimi Hendrix's mixing board! I also stood in the set of Roger Water's THE WALL concert.
Most of all I walked out a bit depressed about the fact that someone like Roy Orbison, as talented as he was ugly, could never be a star today! On the more positive side, the Hall also inspired me about the importance of Rock n' Roll in American culture, and about the expression that is possible in this genre when our American political system is failing us.
It's failing us now, time to crank it up to 11!
