1-75 North

I'm writing this entry from good ol' Kamlamazoo.Back here for our friend Meghann's wedding this weekend.

Katie and I have driven 1-75 up and back 3 times now, and we see some pretty crazy stuff along the way. The funniest of which has to be this 40 foot high Jesus sculpture just outside Cincinatti at the Solid Rock Church. It's like a horrible accident that you just can't help staring at as you drive by.

Funny/scary also is a series of three-story roadside crosses in Kentucky that must have been put up by somebody... because there ain't a church near any of em. In fact, there's usually a XXX shop near them. Probably why they're up, to remind the faithful huddled masses about some thing or another. It's Kentucky, so I don't want to even venture a guess.

On a more positive front, I've been working on the first episode of my "sound+song+score" podcast this week, and I'm hoping to be done very shortly. The episode is all about the 8th annual Boston Theater Marathon! So stay tuned for that.
