De Island of De Sun!

As you can see by the pics above, KT and I have just returned from a wonderful week in Puerto Rico with my best friend Yamil!

It's about freakin time we got down there too as Yamil and I have seen each other through the last ten years or so... We had an amazing time! What incredible artistry in everything from history to culture.

Some of our favorite stops were the El Yunque Rainforest, The Arecibo Radio Observatory, and the Rio Camuy Cave Park.

We're very sunburned at the moment, having spent a day snorkeling off of Icacos Island with less than waterproof sunscreen. I even got stung by a jellyfish that I didn't see until it was two inches from my face. It burned a bit, but didn't last more than 5 minutes...

We ended our trip last night by having an incredible meal at Kudeta in Old San Juan. One of the top ten best meals I've had in all my days.

Enough about us though, our trip wouldn't have been half as good if it wern't for Yamil and his large loving familia. Thanks again, Yamiljo, Marta, Daliana, Idalia, Yamil Sr., Fran, Anna Sophia, Hector, Giselle, and Lourdes! We love you all and look forward to seeing you again sometime soon!
